Gaby Infante

Venezuelan choreographer, dancer, instructor, videographer and event producer. Founder of the urban and experimental dance company Urban Motion in 2006 in Venezuela. She has a professional career spanning 20 years.
She began her dance studies at the age of 7 (1992) training in ballet, contemporary and experimental dance, jazz and urban dance, mainly hip hop and house. She also has training in Barre and Pilates as a training method for dancers.

Her training took place in San Antonio de los Altos and Caracas (Venezuela), New York (United States) and Barcelona (Spain) taking classes with teachers such as Luam Keflezgy, Carlos Neto, Justin Conte, Korie Genius, Chrybaby Cozie, Dana Foglia, Jared Grimes, Gigi Torres, Kyle Hanagami, Karen Ng, Laure Courtellemont. Bobby Mileage, Cebo and Tony McGregor.

She has been a teacher since 2004, leading the dance competition company “Urban Motion Crew” to the top positions in Venezuela from 2010 to 2016. Thanks to this, they participated as guests in Hip Hop International (Colombia, 2011) and were invited to the world championship in Las Vegas. Currently she is dedicated to teaching Urban and Commercial Dances.

She was an artistic producer and choreographer in Venezuela for shows such as “Cabaretana, Encuentro de dos Mundos” (2008 – 2009 – 2014), “EnSueños… Un Mundo Subjetivo” (2010) and “7 Miradas” (2014). Organizer of the dance events “Xperimenta: Mentes Abstractas” (2015), “Xperimenta: Sinfóni-K” (2016) and “Just Ladies” (2015) as well as the competitions “Motion Battle I and II Edition” (2015 – 2016).

Since 2017 in Barcelona she has participated as a choreographer and dancer in pieces for events and dance festivals such as “Hop Sant Andreu”, “I’m Hip Hop”, “HOP Festival”, “Primavera Republicana”, “Certamen Coreográfic de Sabadell” and the Dance Cycle “Itineràncies”. She has been a dancer in music videos for artists such as Otto Bmc, Maico, Javi Mota, Selena Leo and the promotional video for the 2017 Euroleague basketball tournament “Dream On”.

She is currently also co-founder of the company Discidium, “Focus Dance Workshops” training for dancers and “Cotufa Creativa Films” audiovisual production company focused on dance.
