Costumes

Slam Dancing organizes the costumes for the End of the Year Festival. Costume choices are made following criteria set by the school. We strive for costume designs that are age appropriate and consistent with the theme and style of dance. There is an additional cost for costumes, although we remind everyone that participating in the show is optional. The prices are set according to age and size. In January/February you will receive more detailed information about the dance recital and costumes orders.

Uniforms

We care about the students’ dance clothes in the classes, and that is why we set guidelines for everyone to follow. Children and adolescent students in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary classes have mandatory uniforms.

Slam Dancing Kids

Ballet&Jazz from 4 to 6 years old

Girls: pink leotard with Slam Dancing skirt to buy at our School + pink ballet shoes and pink dance tights to buy in a store.

Boys: white or black t-shirt with black leggings and black ballet shoes.

Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary 7-12 years old

Girls: coral Slam Dancing leotard to buy at our School + Jazz shoes for Jazz Dance black color. Ballet half pointe pink shoes for Ballet. Contemporary, barefoot or with black socks

Boys: white or black t-shirt with black leggings and black half-pointed shoes for Ballet and Jazz shoes for Jazz.

Musical Theater, Hip-hop and Commercial 7-12 years old

Girls and Boys: sportswear. We recommend our shorts, leggings and sweatpants for the bottom and our tops and t-shirts for the top. Important! You must use shoes not worn on the street.

Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary – 13-17 years old

Girls: burgundy Slam Dancing leotard to buy at our School + Jazz shoes for Jazz Dance black color. Ballet half pointe pink shoes for Ballet. Contemporary, barefoot or with black socks

Boys: white or black t-shirt with black leggings and black half-pointed shoes for Ballet and Jazz shoes for Jazz.
