Nura Pinto

Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Nura Pinto trained in Classical, Contemporary, and Jazz dance at renowned schools in Paris, Toulouse, Madrid, Barcelona, and Las Palmas. She also earned a double degree in Modern Dance and Hip Hop from Company&Company, under the guidance of Máximo Hita and Kanga Valls. Nura holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona and has complemented her training with certifications in Pilates (Mat and Reformer), PBT Progressing Ballet Technique, Ashtanga Yoga, and Barre, a discipline she specialized in during 2023 and began teaching in 2024.
As a performer, she has danced with contemporary and classical ballet companies such as Vision of the Dance, Carles Ibáñez’s Young Company, Anna Arboix Dance Company, and Pocket Ballet. She has also worked in cabaret with DHCompany and La Nouvelle Époque, performing at the Teatre del Raval and on Grimaldi Lines cruises. Her artistic career includes projects with artists like Carlos Latre and Joan Rovira, as well as advertising campaigns for brands including HP, Mastercard, Huawei, Sony, and Montibello, performing in emblematic venues such as Palau Sant Jordi, Casa Batlló, and Camp Nou. She currently combines her work as a dancer with DHCompany and the Star Nut production company —where she also serves as choreographer— with teaching dance, Pilates, and Barre in various centers in Barcelona, in addition to directing a dance training program in Vallès. Nura has been a jury member for the Premis Coreogràfics Sant Boi and has won multiple national and international awards as a choreographer.
