Marc Lapuerta

Marc Lapuerta started dancing at the age of 6 in classical dance and, at the age of 8, began his competitive career in ballroom dancing. Later, he trained in urban dances at Urban Dance Factory (2012) and completed his professional training in contemporary and modern dance at Company&Company (Barcelona, ​​2012–2014). In 2015 he received several awards in dance competitions that allowed him to continue his training at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila.

He began his career as a professional performer collaborating with international companies such as Panorama Dance Theater (Switzerland, 2017–2019) and Company Idem (2017–2018), as well as with choreographers such as Gustavo Ramírez (2015–2018), Ziomara Hormaetxe (2018), Vero Cendoya (2022–2024) and Roberto G. Alonso (2025–2026), among others. He has also been part of large-format productions such as Expo 2020 Dubai, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Qatar Football World Cup, as well as the Latin American tour “Un Mundo Raro Tour” by Mala Rodríguez, and he has worked with the Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona (2020–2022).

As a choreographer, he develops work focused on contemporary language research. He has created works such as “Yu”, “Winter” and “Liberté” for the production company Sándal, the cabaret “Ampolino” for DH Company, and pieces such as “Alego”. Likewise, he creates pieces for young dancers who participate in national and international competitions, such as Dance World Cup, Vaslav Nijinsky, Youth American Grand Prix or Livorno in Danza. In 2025 he was invited to choreograph a piece for the Dansk Talentakademi University in Holstebro (Denmark).

In the pedagogical field, he has a consolidated career as a teacher, being invited to give lectures and workshops in national and international contexts. He has developed his work in countries such as Italy, Russia and Andorra, as well as in different communities of the national territory, linking his pedagogical practice to contemporary creation.
