

Marc Lapuerta
CONTEMPORARY teacher
Marc Lapuerta started dancing at the age of 6 years old, when he was 8 years old he began to compete as a Ballroom dancer. Years later he trained in Urban Dance at the Urban Dance Factory (2012), in Contemporary and Classical Dance at the Company & Company school in Barcelona (2012-2014). In 2015 he won several awards and recognitions in different Dance Competitions.
As a professional dancer he has worked with the Swiss companies Panorama Dance Theater in the piece “The Widsom of the Crowd” (2017-2019) and Company Idem in the pieces “Control” and “Equilibre” (2017-2018). As well as with the Spanish companies Anna Arboix (2012-2014), Proyecto Titoyaya in “Moniquilla y el Cascanueces” (2015-2018) and Ziomara Hormaetxe in the piece “Biopiracy” (2018). In addition, he worked for El Gran Liceo de Barcelona in the production of “Els Músics de Bremen” (2020).
He currently participates in different Dance Festivals with his solo creation “Per un txà” and the Duo “Playazoooh“. As a choreographer he worked (2010-2010) for the Production Company DH Agency in different Musicals such as “Cabaret” (2017) and “Mamma Mia” (2019), as well as in his own events and shows.
As part of his choreographic work, he produces creations for young dancers who perform at National and International Contemporary Dance Competitions such as DanceWorldCup, Vaslav Nijinsky, Youth American Grand Prix, Livorno In Dansa, among others.
Guest teacher in numerous Workshops in Italy, Russia and Andorra, as well as in Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia, Galicia and the Basque Country.
In his classes, students will connect with their body and mind through technical exercises, guided improvisations and choreographic compositions. The goal is for each student to get to know him or herself more deeply and discover both his or her limitations and virtues.
