Félix Agustín Aquaro
Professor of CONTEMPORARY
A dancer, choreographer, and teacher with training in contemporary dance and hip hop. He holds a degree in Contemporary Dance and a Bachelor’s degree in Choreographic Composition from the Provincial University of Córdoba, and trained at the Nora Irinova Classical Dance Seminar at the Teatro del Libertador San Martín. He has a stage career with contemporary dance companies in Argentina and Spain, and professional experience in musical and audiovisual projects. He received scholarships from Broadway Dance Center (New York) and the Mercosur Residency (São Paulo). Since 2015, he has taught regular classes and intensive workshops in Europe and Latin America (Spain, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil), focusing his pedagogical approach to acrobatic movement on listening, self-observation, and the conscious challenge of one’s own limits. His work integrates contemporary dance, hip hop, and organic, low-impact acrobatics, delving into anatomical alignment, conscious strength training, and musicality. Through the study of chains, impulses, spirals, axes, supports, rolls and inversions, it fosters an available, diverse and sensitive body, oriented both to technical development and to the investigation of singular movement.
