Angélica Medina
MODERN JAZZ, PRE DANSA y PILATES teacher
Angélica Medina is specialized in contemporary dance and trained in jazz, classical, and Spanish dance. She graduated in Dance Pedagogy from the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and has over 30 years of teaching experience, combining technical rigor, creativity, and body awareness in her classes.
Her classes reflect this integration: they include thorough and challenging warm-ups, technical sequences, and choreographic or improvisation material, always conveying the energy and richness dance has given her, with attention to anatomy, injury prevention, and each student’s physical and artistic needs. Her approach also integrates Pilates, structural osteopathy, and kinesiotaping, providing holistic training focused on mobility, postural alignment, and injury prevention. She prepares students for entrance exams to the Conservatori Professional de Dansa, adapting her methodology to each student’s abilities and goals.
Dance is much more than a discipline; it is her language, a form of expression that integrates creativity, technique, and physical well-being.
