Andrea Stern
COMMERCIAL Dance Teacher
She began her artistic life at the age of 9 in Caracas, Venezuela. Her first contact was with singing and she expanded her artistic field when she entered the comprehensive dance school, where she received classes in ballet, jazz, nationalist dance, tap, flamenco, tango, contemporary, theater and singing. At the age of 17 she moved to New York City taking the Student Visa Program at the Steps on Broadway school. At the same time she took classes at the Broadway Dance Center, it was this year that she discovered the urban genre with teachers such as Derek Mitchell, Luam, Ryan Davis, Jared Jankis, Laya Barak, Jonathan Lee, Kennan Cooks, Candance Brown, among others.
Upon her return to Venezuela, she began her life as a teacher, teaching classes from the most basic to the most advanced levels. Today she has been teaching for more than 10 years.
Today she continues to be a student to continue her training, both in Spain and in the United States. She has had the opportunity to represent Spain in the HIP HOP INTERNATIONAL World Championship in 2019, which was held in Arizona. She has shared the stage with singers such as Alejandro Sanz, worked on television in programs such as Got Talent Spain and danced in a season of the musical play King of Pop by Michael Jackson in Barcelona.
Commercial Dance is the genre that best defines Andrea’s classes. She works on musicality, cleanliness, handling of textures and choreographic complexity. She usually works with structure and choreography. She normally repeats her classes two sessions, working on memory capacity in the first and style and personality in the second.
