Naty Giménez

With professional training from the Martha Graham School in New York, I have been teaching at dance training centers in Barcelona for over ten years.

For the past five years, my work has focused specifically on the rigorous teaching of Graham Technique as a tool for the dancer’s technical, artistic, and expressive development.

I combine Martha Graham’s pedagogical tradition with a methodology adapted to the needs of today’s students, integrating movement analysis, musicality, body awareness, choreographic composition, and performance.

As a member of the Graham For Europe community, I regularly conduct workshops, such as the Graham Weekend Barcelona.

I am the founder of Esencia Dansa and a pioneer in creating and presenting choreography based on Graham Technique in Catalonia, such as the piece “Andante.”
