Pepe Hevia is a teacher, creator and dancer of national and international renown. Creator of more than
\nof more than 60 choreographic compositions for his own company as well as for casts and conservatories
\nand conservatories in most of Latin and Central America. His very personal language, compositional style
\nand his consolidated teaching formula are the result of more than 30 years of experimentation.

Pepe was born in Havana, Cuba on June 2, 1971. Since he was a child, art became his most vital means of communication.
\nhis most vital means of communication, and at the age of five years he began his training in the universe of folkloric dance and the
\nof folkloric dance and choreographic composition, being part of high rigorous casts,
\nboth on the stage and on Cuban television. Years later she studied at the Escuela
\nNational School of Dance – ENA, where he graduated in 1989 to become the most important mentor of young dancers and creators

\nIn the early nineties he emigrated to Barcelona, collaborating with renowned Spanish companies.

\naudiovisual works, in addition, he has received the National Dance Award of Costa Rica.

Since 2013 he settled in the city of Lima where he collaborates as guest choreographer for the National Ballet of Peru.
