Gero

Dancer, singer and dance teacher born in France and raised in Barcelona.

Since she was 10 years old, she started training in Ballet and Jazz as well as Musical Theatre. Throughout her adolescence, dancing becomes her main motivation and she decides to move to Paris to train in Psychology and Dance and returns to Barcelona to join a company and start working as a dance teacher.

Later, she graduated from the Australian College of Dance in Dance Pedagogy and started training in Urban dance.

She did several trainings in Dancehall in Barcelona and decided to travel to Jamaica to soak up the culture and take classes with some of the creators of the steps.

Trained in different dance disciplines she decides to set up a musical band called LesqueFaltaband where she is in charge of adding all the movement to a musical project.

For more than 10 years she has been teaching dance classes of different styles and levels.

In her classes, Gero works on the confidence and empowerment that each person experiences with this style of dance through the movements that are performed by Jamaican dancers and that she choreographs.
