Kiki Rodríguez
JAZZ teacher
Born in Cartagena. She studied Classical Dance at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. Later, she furthered her studies in Modern Jazz with teachers such as Anne-Marie Porras and received a scholarship with Maestro Máximo Hita.
Throughout her career as a dancer-performer, she has participated in musicals such as Guys and Dolls by Mario Gas, she has been a member of Carlos Santos’ company, danced in television programs such as “Lluvia de Estrellas”, galas on Spanish TV and cabarets such as Belle Époque.
She has been awarded in several international competitions as a Jazz Dance choreographer in Italy and Brussels. She is currently a teacher and director at Elite Dance (Parets del Vallés) since 2006.
Kiki’s classes focus on finding a balance between technique and movement characteristic of Modern Jazz and Broadway Jazz. With dynamic coordination, flexibility and physical control exercises, students will develop their ability to execute the steps of the choreographies.
