Carla Uccelli
SINGING teacher
Carla Uccelli is an Argentine actress, musician and comedian, living in Barcelona for the last 4 years.
She has a degree in Theater and Acting from the Universidad Nacional del Arte de Argentina and in Instrumentalist Technique in Singing from the Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda.
She has more than 8 years of experience as a Musical Theatre teacher. In Buenos Aires she worked for Valeria Lynch’s Musical Comedy School, directing musicals such as We will rock you, Puss in Boots, Annie, Hairspray, Fama, among others.
In Barcelona she works as a vocal and theatrical coach at the Benjamin Franklin International School in plays such as Pippin and The Little Mermaid.
For more than 7 years, Carla directs, produces and performs in her theatrical group Papas Bravas in Buenos Aires.
In 2020 she released her first EP as a singer-songwriter, and has a comedy podcast on Spotify.
Carla believes deeply in the benefits provided by the disciplines of Singing and Theater. These connect oneself with its most artistic, sensitive and personal side. Like a mirror that enables to discover oneself from a different perspective.
For her it is always very rewarding to see how her students progress in this process of artistic discovery: how they put aside their fears and face the stage, enjoying the sensations of this unique moment.
